Oh sure, they fly around making noise and can sometimes sting the beekeeper (that's why the beekeepers on this farm are my husband and son and not me!). But I still love my bees. All 70,000 of them.

If we didn't have bees, we couldn't dip blackberries, fresh off the stalk, into honey from the hive. You have no idea how wonderfully splendid it is to stand in the field and dip warm, ripe blackberries straight into honey your own sweet bees produced. It's like heaven.
The bees are doing their job throughout the farm, happily pollinating their little hearts out, and giving us honey as a bonus.
The summer squash thank them.
